Shanon L. Golay (née Anderson), 44 of Lorain passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 in St. John Medical Center, Westlake, from complications of Lupus.

She was born May 30, 1968 and was a lifelong resident. Shanon graduated from Admiral King High School in 1986.

She worked in the City of Lorain treasurer’s office and the water department. Shanon was a member of Saint Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church, Lorain. She loved animals, particularly her cats and dogs.

Shanon will be dearly missed by her mother Candice J. Lazoff (née Davis) of Naples, Florida, her dad Boris “Bo Bo” Lazoff of Lorain; father Robert Anderson of Sheffield; aunt Olga Lazoff of Lorain; uncle Larry Davis of Vermilion and her cousins Laurie and Jeff Hamilton of Vermilion.

Services will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions to your favorite animal shelter.
